Hello everyone! Welcome to the 4S Ranch/Del Sur News. As I build this site, you can expect to enjoy positive content about people, activities, events, school news, among other things. I've lived in this relatively new area for about 5 years and have observed the building of homes and businesses, and our population grow exponentially. We are a diverse community that I believe is enriching for all of us.
Food! Dare I say, we are fortunate to have some of the best San Diego restaurants represented in this community and I partake of them as often as possible!
The schools are a part of the Poway Unified School District and, as most people know, are highly rated. One of my goals is to provide a focus on schools, students, and educators.
I worked a similar job to this one earlier in my career as a freelance editor/reporter for the Community Newspaper Group, while working full time at other organizations. I loved every minute of my freelance work. I would wander out on the weekend to find events to cover and I was surprised at the variety I found. I met so many interesting people and found events from "tiny" boat competition on a pond to competitive beach volleyball.
